You could also let the children draw their own vegetable shop posters. Discuss Canned Vegetables: Show pictures or real cans of three different vegetables. Talk about what’s inside and then colour pictures of the cans. Design Vegetable Cans: Let the children get creative by drawing and decorating their own vegetable can designs. Label and Colour Vegetables: Give the children the worksheet with pictures of six different vegetables to label and colour. Make a Vegetable List: Show the colourful picture with lots of vegetables and ask the children to list all the veggies they see. An EYFS activity based on Trees linked to Colour, Shape and Pattern. There are 3 designs of trees. Each of the types of trees have 3 worksheets. Colour in the black and white tree to match the colour version. Cut out the colour leaves and add them to the tree outline to recreate the tree exactly or to make a new version. Colour in the leaf outlines to match the colours or use own colours. Then cut out the leaves and add to the tree. For little fingers, you may want to enlarge the sheets for cutting out. A Christmas resource for EYFS and KS1 linked to 2D shapes. The first sheet shows an array of Xmas Shape characters that all live in a fictional Shape Land.
